Monument Removed from Camp Chase
Description
On August 22, 2017, the unknown soldier at Camp Chase Confederate monument was knocked over, and the soldier’s head decapitated. Police Lt. Clifton Dean stated that possibly occurred when striking the column in the fall to the ground. The vandals run away with the head and leaving the hat behind.[1]
